Background
Apart from often not being a pleasant experience itself, going to a medical appointment usually creates extra discomfort due to huge locations and the several steps to follow throughout an appointment. When patients attend for any kind of illness, concerns or simply to do a period check, they tend to feel stressed under any of these circumstances, but on top of that, they often feel disoriented regarding the many touch-points they should be going through inside these locations and spend extra time trying to figure that out.

solution
MyHealth App
MyHealth application was designed with the goal of supporting patients with their whole “Hospital Journey”, providing hospital’s floor plan guides and full Augmented Reality guide with every touch-point of their medical appointments. Apart from that, it offers extra support showing specific instructions to book these appointments and a 24-hour chat with the doctor after the session.
TARGET & user personas
The target audience was defined as people from 18 to 45 years old, students and professionals who usually have busy lives and need an extra help with organisation and guidance in these instances to save time, since they consider there might be many unnecessary hiccups that can be avoided. Among this target audience, it can be found individuals who already keep an active follow-up of their health but struggle in the process of the appointment, or those who forget to do it and need an extra hand with organisation and reminders.

Next steps
In the next couple of weeks, as part of my solo project, evaluation methods such as usability test + specific questionnaires will be conducted with users in order to evaluate and iterate the product based on the results analysis through statistics and “Thematic Analysis”.
